daemon tools? never happened to me, i dled it when it came out (dvd form) and it never gave me that error, only game that ever did was hitman contracts. maybe the one u downloaded didn't bypass the cd/dvd emulation checks, best bet is too uninstall A120%/Daemon Tools/CloneCD. if u don't have any of those then it's pretty fishy, last resort: re-download from a good verified source.

never just delete it, u gotta go into control panel, add/remove programs and then UNINSTALL it from there, never i repeat never just delete programs like that, they need to be properly uninstalled

Great! l deleted Clone cd and now the game works fine, thanx for that. :rolleyes:
