When I used to do my own washing I hung it all over the house, on radiators and chair-backs and things. That way the weather never mattered.

Just a little tip from studentsville ;)

Another gem is to always store baked beans upside down, that way the come out of the can much, much easier.

Thankyou for your words of wisdom....

I do so hate washing all over my house, it makes it damp and can create problems later. Of course, if you are a student in student accommodation then such things are not an issue. (Ahhh the joys of home ownership)

(oh.....just noticed a white cat in the shed at the bottom of the garden...clearly sheltering from all this bloody rain - go get it Sally (my cat is sooo slack)...)

Thankyou for the tip.....I am however a cheapskate as I already possess a dryer but thought I would save a few pence and dry my clothes on the line.....

Damn the weather furies and their determination to undermine my best laid plans......(dont use the dryer for a week = one extra beer down the pub)
