Hi all!

I just did a fresh Klite install and I couldn't connect to my favorite Supernode with KaZuperNodes anymore!
And this is the answer...

I forgot to be a supernode myself! :P (Duh)

So go to Options/Kazaa Lite options/Advanced and uncheck it!
Now i'm connected every time again!!

Good Luck!

You don't have to be a supernode to connect to another with Kazupernodes.

Doesn't matter at all. I have checked this option and can connect to Clifton or any other SN.

The problem must have been something else. ;)

Muse is right, makes no difference whether your a supernode or not you should still be able to connect to your fav node.Maybe you just got a bad supernode

since this is in the tips section I think he means that if you become a supernode you will always be connected :D

The point is, i was used to connect to Longash and couldn't connect to it! It kept connecting to Another Supernode!
And i mean all the time! So i'm talking about many day's trying!!!
I thought that Longash was offline or something...

Than i had the bright idea that i wasn't acting as a supernode myself... so i enabled it and started KazuperNodes and tryed connecting to Longash again.. and it was working and does that every time now as before....

That's the point!

You can jump supernodes if you are looking for rare files or need more sources.

If you are looking for let's say Brasilian music it will be a good idea to connect to a supernode in Brasil.

Follow the links in my sig for more info on Supernodes.

what are the befits for being a supernode anyway? I have no control over the thing i might host nor see who is connect to my supernode. What do I benfit from being a supernode, anyone?

The best supernode???? <_< There is no such thing as the best supernode.

Hundreds of thousands supernodes all over the world.

It all depends what you are looking for. Australian music? Pick one in Australia.
Swedish movies? Take one in Sweden. :)

There are no real benefits to being a supernode but without them the network wouldn't work. ;)

anyone know some good supernode IP's in around the pacific NW?...more specifically Vancouver BC.

Not lookin for any "rare" files or anything just maybe something quicker ( gettin 12-18 max, if I'm lucky on an up to date computer with cable :( ) just for common/popular programs ie photoshop, dreamweaver, etc.

 Hi all,

I found the problem.. why i couldn't connect to my favorite supernode!
If you just start KazuperNodes first and select the Supernode you want, it starts Kazaa Lite by itself (When clicking the Klite LOGO!)
If you start Klite first and KazuperNodes later and try to connect.. it fails.. and connect to another supernode!
Why??? I don't know, but this must be what i did the first time.. Being a Supernode yourself has nothing to do with it!

Never to old to learn!! Right?

Muse

Sorry Rocktron, but you have to learn a bit more.

Kazupernodes will connect to a new Supernode even as Kazaa is running.

Check the manual in my sig!
