OK

I'd like to ask the US citizens on the board, especially the Republicans a question.

At the moment in Nepal, there is a Civil War.

In this Civil War, there is a large number of "Insurgents" fighting for Democracy, against an Absolute Monarch.

The Absolute Monarch currently holds about 1/3 of the country, such is the depth of feeling from the people of Nepal...

So, why are the Americans supporting the Monarch, and not the people fighting for their right to decide their own fate?

I mean, isnt that why Saddam was removed?

The double standards are confusing me somewhat....

Is the USA for or against Democracy?

The people of Nepal are fighting for it, the people of Iraq werent... the slaves have to free themselves as i've said before... but why are you supporting the Monarch?

Seems like none of the Republicans want to say anything about the hypocracy...

Strange huh?

Countries are driven by what works for them, is this at all baffling?

This has been the motus operandi throughout history.

What is the big epiphany?

Governments are there to serve their people, not be global huggles carebears.

When your Government is unable to provide for you, and explains that the reason is because that they were doing the "right thing", you will oust them like yesterdays paper.

It is really fun to be a "have" in this world and tell people and governments how they "should" act.

Wait until you no longer "have", then tell me how interested you are in being the carebear.

Yesterday I found a wallet full of money, and I returned it. Am I a nice guy? Not really, that money meant nothing to me. Had that money been the difference between eating and going to bed hungry, maybe I would not have been Mr. Nice. We take so much for granted, sometimes we don't bother to consider how things, and what terrible deeds were committed, came to be so.

Talking about "democracy=good" is politic speak, I know you're savvy enough to know this. Why pretend not to get the big picture?

Why do US government always messing with other countries?

Because they can.

Every country, throughout history, has done so to their ability.
