Just got my new 6800GT and thought i'd post some nice image quality shots. I can't be arsed to look for my old screenshot thread so don't bother complaining. :P

I'll post them as links so the 56kers and frame breaking whiners don't start moaning, and yes some of them are over 200k, no I won't resize them now, maybe later.

System these shots were taken on:

AMD 2200 oc'ed to 2.3 Ghz, 333 FSB
768Mb PC2700 RAM
Inno3d 6800GT 256Mb clocked at 370 core, 1100 mem
1 x 80Gb Maxtor 7200 RPM 8mb
1 x 120Gb Seagate 7200 RPM 8mb

Yes I know my card is CPU and RAM bandwidth limited but it'll do for now. :D


Counter Strike: Source - Everything set to maximum, 1280x960, reflections set to "reflect all", 4 x AA, 16 x AF.

Doom 3: 2xAA 8xAF, everything set to high, all details enabled. CPU really holds me back on this one, but a few nice eye candy shots anyway.

If I had it I would, can't find anywhere that seeds it either. If I do manage to get hold of it i'll be sure to put some pics up. :)

that sucks that u don't have it, its an awesome game. it looks like shit on my radeon 9600 tho.

It takes about 5 minutes to make a torrent and send it to him. And whats your upload? 32kb/s is all thats needed.

Remember that photobucket resizes a lot of these images, those "jaggies" you see on the edges of lines (check out the edge of the pc in CS:S, or the floor grating in Doom 3) don't exist when playing.

Are you on fasttracker? I'd like to play Far Cry if anyone could upload it.

I only have a 45kb/s upload, it would take about 24hours. If you are willing to take the time i can still i gusse.

EDIT #1 I just let you use my giganews account to download it, get on MSN and i will tell you how to get on it.

384 I think... cant remember. He has Comcast. He got the upgrade for 10 a month. So its 4000/384

Im sure I could help seed if he doesnt want to use your GN account. That'll be an extra 30 kB/s
