Hey ppl.

I just downloaded Pro Evo 4 and its a .gi . i tried burning this with Record Now DX. It burned fine but when I put it in my ps2 it doesnt boot up and takes me to the memory card screen

With some modchips you need to do the following with copied games:

Press the select button (and keep it pressed).
(Re-)start the PS2.
Wait for the game to load.
Now you can release the select button.


If you used cheap DVD media to burn the game, that can be te cause too. Use better quality blank DVDs.

Firstly are you having any problems playing any other games or back-ups?
If so your laser may be on its way out (it happened to my PS2 after a year and a halfhttp://www.filesharingtalk.com/vb3/images/smilies/sad.gif)

Aside from that try using DVD Decrypter (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_decrypter.cfm) to burn the file.

no, i dont have any problems playing any other backups.

That happened before to me, sent it back to sony and they sent another ps2 to me :)
