im thinking about getting the new slimline pstwo and was wondering if you have to pay to use it online, i have cable internet already, and the router is sitting next to where the playstation will be, but does it cost anything like the xbox does to play online games

Nah, i thin k you have to buy a £25 PSD2 adaptor thing or maybe thats intergrated into the new PSwo i think it is. But no fees like Xbox live nah.

yeah, the new slimline pstwo has a network adapter built in, thats cool, looks like ill be getting one next week then.

I'm tempted to buy one myself.
What's the price for it again? $250?

Also,does it have the quieter fan build in?
And can it play dvd-r's just like the 2nd gen. of the normal PS2?

dont know about media, or how loud it is, but its 75% smaller, not sure about the price, but over here in the uk its the same price as the old normal ps2. which is about £100

No hd support also.

Its the same price as the normal ps2. The Bestbuy near me has a bunch in stock so hopefully ill get mine tomorrow or Sat

forgot about the hdd suport, can it not support an external usb one?

Not that I know of. But I am pretty sure it cant.


EDIT: Oh yea, it also has USB 2.0. Which is alot faster the the ps2's 1.1
