If you follow this tutorial you may be giving everyone on the Internet access to your network shares
what DOES THIS MEANNNN, IS MY COMP GONNA BE VUNERABLE AND MY COMPUTER'S GONNA EXPLODE FROM HACKERS!?!?!? I DONT UNDERSTAND!!

not with a router.

with a HUB it will be vulnerable.

but you have a router so forget that.

just run the network setup wizard on each computer. then you can right click a drive or folder and go to sharing and enable sharing on it then you can see it in network neighborhood\my network places on the other computers.

"My Network Places" will have all of your shared folders from all the computers. Just double click whatever u want.

try some of the possible passwords you might have used (if it did ask for a password).

otherwise do it all again. :ermm:

You can write large files to a ReWritable CD or even DVD±RW.

yeah, it's gonna take a long time to transfer that amount of data via ur network. I'd toss it on a dvd or 2 and call it a day. :)
