Question about burning a data file .

I'm wondering if i can burna file as data , to a dvd+rw disc using a cd-rw burner ?

I say NO, but you can test it if you dont believe me.
Open Nero (or whatever burning app), insert the DVD, then Check the media.
It'll say whats the CD on the drive usually but it wont regognize the empty DVD.

It works the otherway around. Or else, nobody would buy a DVD burner if the CD burner
does the job.

You need a DVD burner to be able to burn to DVD media.
