My desktop is buzzing...

I believe its one of the fans... when i open my computer it starts to buzz... i restart it a few time and this problem disappears... happens every day... any ideas?

I cleaned two of the fans on the tower and it still buzzes...

If it's a fan as you say. Fans do go bad, especially cheapos. Also the could be dirty & or need oiling (don't oil unless you're sure how).

umm i cleaned the video card fan doesnt seem to be the problem... seems to be my case's fans... i cleaned those fans out too but the fans seem to be shaking when its running therefore it buzzes since its hitting against the casing for the fan...

sounds liek cheap\broken fans then.
replace them...they're cheap and easy to install. :)

Case fans can be taken from old PCs. You could even find one in the trash. Go hunting. :lol:

umm actaulli i do have old pcs... should fans last A LONG TIME!... lol my p1's fan never buzzed...

i had the same problem or months, discovered the guilty party to be a very small fan in the graphics card
