Enable CD recording [Archive]

I have two drives capable of recording CDs
I can't seem to get XP to let me enable recording on both drives....when enabled on one, the other is automatically toggled off.
Is this a feature ( albeit a stupid one) of Windows, or is there a workaround?

I don't think there is a fix to this. (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;294652)

Nero should make a plugin that would work the same was as that windows recording thing...would be handy to use.

Turn both off and use another software to burn like Nero or Roxio.
