System Keeps Restarting and Beeping after I Overclocked...

well i just found i had a thermal probe so i installed it onto my CPU... and for some reason the CPU was at 600 MHz so i overclocked it to a 2.4 GHz like it was last time, but whenever starts to BOOT UP windows it makes beeping noises and just completly shuts down.... is there anything i did wrong?
(I have a AMD Athlon 2600+ Mobile)

my friggin NF7-S keeeps beeping >_< and its less than a month old :no:

Hmmm....I think it started with the thermal probe......

is it really the Thermal Probe? .... dont wanna bother taking it out since i can see the temp really easily and more accuretly

ok.. i somehow fixed the problem.. i went to go check on the CPU if it was loose if... it wasen't loose at all but i just lightly pushed it in a little and for some reason the problem was gone.... very odd...
