How do you explain to someone that they pwned you, I've forgotten the r/l word for it

I got pwned today, this girl was talking to herself, I said thats the 1st sign of madness, she said "No the first sign of madness is hairy palms"
I went  and looked at my hand :frusty: she then said "The second side of madness is checking your palms" :frusty:

I canNOT believe I fell for that :frusty:

"Burn" is correct.

"You were totally burned, dude!" (not burnt)

Lick finger, apply to skin, make a sizzling sound.

I like the way you say it's "Correct"

The finger sizzle thing here means bitchy, if someone says something really nasty/bitchy then you do the sizzle thing, so I would have looked pretty stupid doing that and also probably got slapped

There's a proper English word for it, come on all you bloody dictionary eaters

I like to use "owned" - but the word you might be looking for is "gutted", Jonno :)

EDIT: I also use the "one-nil" like Dave said, but unfortunately I don't know any Arsenal fans ATM :( ;)

nah "Gutted" means sad/dissapointed "I'm gutted my team lost" sorta thing :)

I guess the simplest reply to being pwned would be "Ahh ya got me" or something like that, but we used to have a word for it, thanks to puternet I forgotten it

I've also noticed myself pulling smilie faces  <hav'nt figured out how to do that one yet

It's not true anyway, my palms are not hairy.

Hello j2, how are you. Just passing through again.

Hello yourself, old chum. :)

I take it you and yours are fine, as is frog's hair? :D

I hope to be passing through a bit more often; I think I've made a hire to get some time back.

Fingers are crossed. ;)

Nope - Back at home, "gutted" was also used as well.

Basically, when someone bullshitted and another used say one simple fact to discredit the whole pile of crap, someone would shout "gutted" concerning the bullshitter.

So technically, we're both right on that :D

Well it's a new one on me, simply goes to show how different places have different meanings.
Example the other day someone on here (can't remember who) called someone else a Nonce, I explained that if you done that here you would get your head kicked in cos it means pedophile.

Quite funny really, just a couple of weeks ago we were talking about bacon Sarnies, Nikki asked me wtf a sarnie was, and she often says things I don't get.......altho her words are usually real words and not slang but them big words baffle me
