Yes. Clovers naturally grow with 3 leaves, although these days you can buy seeds that will sprout nothing but 4 leaf clovers. :dry:

Yes, I have found a few. Especially when I was younger. :)

Dont know why you have variations in amount of leafs though. If a rose is allowed to grow 'wild' it changes from five leafs to seven leafs. Thought you could not get through the day without that piece of useless information. :lol:

is it not a rare mutated gene that occasionally pops up when a seed inherits the recessive four leaf gene from both parents, or is it grandparents?

so to make four leaf clovers you just need a few of them to pollonate or play with their genes
