Eit: Oh i think i know why...because the player uses a USB2.0 and i have the 1.0 Is there a way to charge the usb cable?

You usually don't need drivers if your using Win2000/XP, it just installs itself as a USB Mass Storage device. What OS are you using?

OK, you said you downloaded the latest applications?

The website says the Creative Muvo Slim comes with:
MuVo? Slim Player
Pair of Stereo Earphones
Stylish Protective case
Rechargeable Li-Ion Battery
Quick Start Guide
Installation CD
USB Cable

This might sound silly, but did you try the Installation CD?

Do you have the USB drivers? The ones that enable the USB ports.

Look in the device manager. The the item at the bottom of the list should show the status of the USB controllers.

Yes other usb devices work. Im not sure where you find out what's the name of the usb card.

Ok, now i get this message when i hook it up. It's a unknown device and an error message saying something about not recognizing it. Any help?

try this
put the installation cd in the cd drive, then plug in the mp3 player, then go to the device manager where ever you see a question mark right click>properties>driver(tabs) then click on update driver and then tell it to look on the cd.

I don't see no question marks...It is just listed as unknown device.

Linkin Park: Yeah I went to that site but the firmware won't work sine my player isn't connected.
