I want to run a fullscreen Application in a window.

any programs that allow me to do this?
For instance, I want to run Final fantasy VIII (YES that OLD game)
in a window rather than full screen

couldnt you right click the shortcut and change the properties to window?

Go to your FFVII installation folder.

*:\Program Files\Final Fantasy VII

Open FF7Config.exe . Go to the Graphics tab and choose the one that says quarter screen (640*480 16bpp (Quarter Screen)).

That should do it. I'd try right now, but I have too many big programs open.

hmm...I don't think I could ever get FFVII to work on XP last time I tried. :dry:
