hey guys
i got this DVD from one of my friends and it looks orginal DVD, now whenever i run it on my DVd player(PC) it stops responding, i want to know if there is some kinda of code which disables it from playing on PC?
also i want to know a good DVD ripper?
btw i have a DVD player in my hall but i cant see the DVD on it cuz its a XXX :lol:

either simply grab alll the big .vobs to your hard drive - and play from there

i don't think XXX has encryption on it

the problem is i cant even explor the DVD, as i said that DVD dosent response.

another thing, the dvd is titled DVD9, now does this kinda of DVD's needs special or more recent dvd players to read them?

Funny I had that problem tonite. Friend complained about a dvd he was given , could n't read it . Sadly it was a vid of his Fathers funeral , I could n't play on mine either. Made me think it was not finalized or something ? Told him to save it. I would see if I could find someone or a program to help . :helpsmili

i dont think he meant the movie "xXx" (vin deisel, samuel l. jackson)
i think he meant an xxx rating (skin flick)
cant watch raw spankage in the hall,
mom will castrate him, that kinda deal :lol:

if you cant even explore the dvd by right clicking it in windows,
i dont know that theres a lot of hope
tell your buddy not to be spankin it while he's ripping...
maybe it will come out right next time (no pun intended) :lol:

the movie is not ripped, its orginal... blue/redish ray.
also with FBI warning on the Cd printed.

Try another dvd player like VLC media player.

DVD-9 is just a dual layer DVD. It is what every other DVD is. Try another player.

like an app such as powerdvd, windvd, etc.
or one that came with a video card or your dvd drive?
(ATi included one with my catalyst cd, works nicely)
