.Cab files

Hi,

i need to open a .CAB file, Winrar reconises it and has the Winrar icon but ti says unknown format. This CAB file is from a game, most games these days have there files packed in CAB format and are extracted as the game installs. Well im trying to rip some files out of a game so it fits onto DVD5 and i need to know what files are in this CAB file.

So basically what can open CAB files (not Winrar) thats free.

Sounds like you have a corrupted .cab file there peerzy. :unsure:

No, you try opening any CAB file that comes from a game iso and Winrar won't open it. Thanks i'll check out the links.
