Might need a extension. I tend to just use the middle mouse button to open a link in a new tab

just click your Middel button of mouse aka scroll button on any link u want to open in new tab, in case u want to type the address just do "Ctrl+T" to open a new tap and then type your address there. and alos if u want to open the extrnal link like a shortcut file to open in new tab u can goto tools>option>advance>tabbed browsing and select "a new tab in most recent window".

Right click > Open in new tab.

I thought you meant something else initially

Right click > Open in new tab.

that's two more clicks than i did on slimbrowser :(So Slimbrowser required no clicks to open a page from a link in another tab. Unfortunately, I don't think Firefox has a telepathy plug-in yet :(

Go for the mouse gestures plugin. Then all you have to do is keep the right mouse button held down and drag the mouse up to open a new tab.

Lazy bastard.

That's what I thought you were talking about initially

Then you said about clicking a link ... anyway, 2 clicks less than 2 clicks is still zero clicks :D

If you can export your favourites from SlimBrowser into a file then you can go to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks

Then File>Import

i mena how does it decide which are your faves. i've set it to open them by drawing 2 and 3, which it tries then says aborted for 3 and doesn't work for though it says it does

When you say favourite bookmarks, do you mean the ones on the toolbar along the top?

If so, just go into Manage Bookmarks again and put your favourites into the 'Bookmarks Toolbar Folder'
