Friday the 13th (http://www.pd13.com/). It has a special meaning here in Port Dover where I live.

There is a HUGE motorcycle rally here every Friday the 13th, with bikers coming from all over Canada and the US. By midnight last night, there were already over 25,000 bikes here in town, and the estimate by end of day today is over 100,000. You can't even drive into downtown today unless it's on a motorcycle. There are TV and radio crews everywhere - it's a really big deal nowadays... even the schools are closed for the day. Basically, the whole town is one big party.

Even where I live, on the edge of town, there is the constant low rumble of engines. I had strangers knocking on my door at almost 11pm last night asking if I minded if they pitched a tent in my yard. :blink:

I might take a stroll downtown later and have a look at the bikes (and drool because I want one).

Have fun:)Hmmm, haven't been to Matlock for quite some time. Had a quick blast past the Cat & Fiddle about a month ago though. :lookaroun

Bank Holiday in two weeks... maybe, just maybe. :unsure:
