I see 88:88 in my bedroom a fair bit.

Coincidently when I notice this, teh missus has usually finished drying her hair

I've seen 12:34 quite a bit over the years. It's even creepier when you have a digi clock that displays the seconds, so you get 12:34:56.

Have you ever noticed sometimes when you look at a clock with the seconds displayed, when you first look at it, it seems to stop for more than a second... then, just as you think it's busted or the battery is flat...*tick*?

I see that a lot more than freaky number combinations. It's like the little guy who lives inside the watch is slacking off when your attention is elsewhere.
When he sees you looking at the time, he takes just a little bit too long getting back to work. Damn lazy little sod.

The one that really gets me is 11:34. On a clock, the 4 looks like and upside-down 'h', so it looks like it says 'hell'. I seem to see this one ALOT. :fear:

it's because you check the clock so often that you catch these odd times.
you don't realise how many times you actually check because all the other times don't stick in your memory
