Usually a better defensive team beats an offensive team.

The defensive team gets more chances at the bucket due to steals, blocks, etc.

The Phoenix Suns were the best offensive team yet lost a best of seven series to better defense.

i can't think of much to do with a piston, apart from make an engine. I like the thought of pretending to be a cowboy though

The Spurs actually were better defensively too.

.....but I don't if ya'll knew it but they both teams were number 1 and 2 in defense.

I lost a dollar bet at work.

I would have bet more in the Finals but the two teams were too evenly matched as evidenced by a rare championship game 7.
