Yup , the same old shit. We live in igloos and snows all year long. A black import football player said it best . In Canada they call you boy and don't mean anything bad by it. As in you boys sure played well today or you boys sure have a great team this year.

It's true, we're mostly white in rural areas. Not in urban areas though - cities here are very multicultural. It's pretty much like the US in that regard.

As far as Canada's politics goes.... I'm seriously about to piss myself laughing about the statement that we have the best. Apparently no one has told you about the millions of dollars our liberal government (including the past and current prime ministers) is being investigated for "misappropriating". Google search "the Gomery inquiry" to read up on just how wonderful our politicians are.

Sure we have lots of snow - from November to March (with one last dump in April lately), but it's currently 28C (about 82F) with highs later this afternoon of 32C... not much chance of snow today.

Wouldn't want to live anywhere else. :01: Except maybe the Carribean in January or February.

In Canada when its hot you can cook eggs on a car hood, but when its cold its REALLY cold.

Canada is not 99% all white ziggy, in the rural parts its about 40/60 coloured to white, in the city its like 60/40.

Its a nice country to live in :D Plus we have teh hawt women :01:

 best country in the world to live in and i'm hella proud of being canadian. i have dual citizenship just like LP (US and CAD), but i'd rather be canadian anyday than american.

cpt_azad

the only, and absolutely only, complaint i have about canada is the RCAF. crappiest air force in the world, but mostly i hate them for not letting me join

me: "so, i'm interested in joining the Air Force"
recruiter: "ah very well, are you interested in a particular career with the Canadian Air Force?"
me: "yes actually, i want to be a pilot"
recruiter: "ok, now do you have 20/20?"
me: "no, but i can get laser surgery no problem"
recruiter: "wtf, you fucking hax0rz, you stupid n00b"

i think Canada is the only country in the world that has a vision restriction, every other country allows vision corrections, usually laser eye surgery.

What you mean vision corrections . Don't you shoot first and ask questions later ? I would .

the canadian forces rules on becoming a pilot (military) is this:

you gotta be in shape and smart enough and u need 20/20 uncorrected. while the rest of the world's air forces have the exact same criteria except, 20/20 natural or corrected. as in if u dont have 20/20 vision you can still wear contacts, glasses or laser surgery (the latter is what most militaries want). the only reason i can think of why canada is the only country that inforces this is that our budget is so ridiculously low that this is just another way of telling most canadians: "sorry, not enough money to train new pilot". which leads me to another quesion, theoratical, not actual:

if u have dual citizenship (candadian and american) and you reside in canada, is it possilbe to join the USM? preferabbly the USMC or USAF? question for j2 most likely.

Smith

I have found that Canadians are much more layed back. After watching american tv shows about what its like in highschools (bullies and such) i relize its not like that in my schools. But i have a friend that moved to ohio and she says what you see on tv is exactly what its like.

She says the cheerleaders are a bunch of bitches that judge everyone, i hate cheerleadrs
