Peter Kay just mistakenly said the Spice Girls and the crowed went silent then he went sorry The Who and everyone started screeming

DanB
07-02-2005, 09:35 PM
I think he did that on purpose ;)

Good, cause the spice girls are the suck.

Anyone else think Live8 is just a ploy to raise money so Bob Geldof can get a hair cut

By the way if you like Pink Floyd so much why not record the live stream so you can watch it again and again

DanB

Free 30 day trial, i'll see if i can hook you up with a cracked version but it works like the full version for 30 days so unless The Who go into a mega encode it should do the trick.

Edit: Nope there off

Ghey-ums, going to that AOL site kills my Firefox :(

Those are the three songs they are suppose to play and have told the organisers they will be playing, maybe its some new material or something.

DanB
07-02-2005, 10:04 PM
Now its Money.

I hope they still do Comfortably Numb cos thats one of my favourite songs

DanB
07-02-2005, 10:05 PM

Peerzy

No it wasn't new, it was off Dark Side Of The Moon

Meh, i've only heard a few of there songs so they all sound new to me, i thought cause they were back together after 24 years they might have written something new

Mind you that AOL page crashing firefox has fixed the clickable smilies on this forum

Peerzy

Also it was suppose to finish at 9:30, the british one anyway and the land there using is public property so the westminster council said they would fine them £350,000 ($700,000) for each hour after 9:30 they were there, seems at bit harsh tho.

Post time: 11:08

DanB
07-02-2005, 10:11 PM
now Wish You Were Here :D

For the 30 minute long ending all the acts are going to get up on stage and do a few songs in sig-a-long form. Apparently the final song will be John Lennon's hit Imagine.

07-02-2005, 10:26 PM

Roger Waters done some really mighty records, after he took off from teh floyds,
Jeff Beck on guitar in the Amused to death album,

The first song they did was Breathe - also from Dark Side of the Moon.

Wonderful stuff. I saw them 1987 but Waters had already left by then. However, it was still a great concert - they even did "One of these days" from Meddle at that one.

Water's Radio Kaos is also a good album

Well it looked like Pink Floyd were the only legendary band to reform for Live 8 as the Spice Girls could not all agree to reunite for that day.

Someone should send Mel B a thank you present ;)

DanB

I haven't come across Radio Kaos ... yet
