Icewind Dale II How to level up?

How do you level up in Icewind Dale 2? I alreadh have the golden "+" sign on all my characters, but what do I have to press to actually level them up?

have you tried right clicking on the character pictures,when you are paused,if that dont work you can go here http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/IWD2/index_tips.php and download the manual that should help

Doesn't right clicking just bring up the inventory?

on your character screen,you should find a level up button has been lit up if you press that it will take you to the level up screen allowing you to assign your points

I am getting the feeling that you have played other games similar to Icewind Dale, but not Icewind Dale. What you are saying would be true in similar games like Baldur's Gate, Torment, but......what you are saying does not exist! Bah!

Sorry I couldn,t help but that was what i read in the manual for the game in the link I posted,hope you manage to get to grips with it soon
