Xbox Live with Soft Modded XBox?

i recently bought a bran new xbox too play halo 2 online, which i have done succesfully, i have since then however ran a soft mod on my xbox in order to play a few emus on it, the tutorial i used was the 007 saved game trick which stated that as long as i booted games directly (ie turning the console on with the game ready to play) i would beable to play online, however i can not, it doesnt say im banned, it just says troubleshooting, any help?

did u try cold booting the game?

it should work, if not just play using XBC or Xlink KAi

not sure what the problem is ur account may have been banned like it says for use of mods

i tried the cold boot (ejecting first) and it found a connection but would not load, does that mean im banned? :cry: i just got my xbox like 2 months ago and my xbox live subscription one month ago. what alternative choices do i have

EDIT: How do i get banned anywho, ive only gone onlive a few times

ur not banned cause if ur banned it lets u sign on but it doesnt let u play matchmaking unless u get the worest ban were it doesnt let u sign on but if u havent played a game yet u couldnt have :frusty:

you might get banned
