learning how to use photoshop
right now, i only use of CS3 to resize or change the quality of an image. that's the ONLY thing i can do with it.. i know the program can be used to create really cool original art, but is that something an amateur can self-teach? if not then i assume that you can at least self teach yourself how to edit photos..
if so, i'd be interested in learning how to photoshop in my spare time. can someone point me to a guide of some sort that they know would help me get started? something for someone who is pretty much lost when they open up the program.

u talking about spare time, so,I advise u to use video tutorials first.
there is hundred of them every where.
