No just copy it to your desktop and open it there, i dont even pause the dl. you can also use divfix to repair the file ;)
What are you talking about? You can't copy a .dat file to your desktop while downloading? You certainly can't open it with WMP. Are we on the same page here? <_<Quote:

Im sorry but ive been doing it all the time, try it now :angry:
1) It's not possible to tamper (ex. copy, move, rename) a file while a program is using it.
2) Is that smilie supposed to threaten people?
1) im on xp pro(dont know if this matters)but as i said i do it and ive had no problems

Try it just start a dl then open shared folder right click, drag onto desktop click copy here.
I have copied files that were downloading from bittorrent, and moved them... only seems to work if u copy first
