;) Why I love this game.
:D Yep.Oldest game in the book.....Cat and Mouse. :D
Well I think I have one of the worst cases. I left my pc on all night to download Matrix Revolutions, I even stayed up all night, because I don't like leaving my PC on when I'm asleep, I'm too scared! lol. Anyway in the morning when it had finished downloading, it turned out to be a three hour long porno! Not that three hour long pornos are a bad thing, just it's rather annoying when you haven't slept all night because you thought you were getting Matrix Revolutions!
P.S. I had a driving lesson in the morning, lol you should have seen me! I could have killed my instructor! No sleep + Angry driving instructor = Me almost killing instructor!!
Yeah, there's only one solution when that happens to you: not having any driving lessons or driving at all... As for the fake files, you can't do anything about it, they are just a bunch of sick bastards who enjoy wasting your time (and some of theirs too! Did I say sick? I meant really stupid!) All I wish when that happens to me is that I'm not downloading some really sick stuff like children or animal porn... I've read some disturbing posts about that on the board!
P.S: No offense meant, but why try to download Matrix Revolutions (the third chapter) when Matrix Reloaded (the second one) is not even released?

thats a load of crap do u honestly thin that those people would have kazaa turned on 24/7?? to share fake files???Quote:
also there are companies out there hired by the movie and music industry to purposely frustrate you by mislabeling and creating loops of audio
Why on earth would you think anything else.
It's the cheapest possible way to disturb the sharing.
Did i say Revolutions? lol I meant Reloaded! Sorry I always do that.

I think, more often then not, these files are shared by accident. Though, I doubt very many people will go thru the trouble of deleting them.
Most of the time it's just done by users on accident or to waste our time, though the RIAA has some people doing the fake file sharing on purpose.
There are whole US COMPANIES devoted to the cause of seeding the p2p networks with fakes, copyright violation monitoring, and other forms of spamming...Quote:

They're often on fixed net blocks of ip addresses and make for semi-easy targets to block with Peer Guardian.
