The First Law -Joe Abercrombie.
I am reading Craig Johnson's "Walt Longmire Mysteries" series.
I am reading A Distant Mirror by Barbara W. Tuchman. It is a historical account of the 14th century written as a narrative about a specific French Knight. She wanted to write about someone who there was enough known about that she could create a reasonable biography but not so privileged (like a royal) that their life would be so extraordinary there would be no insight into the common person.
Just started the Dark Tower series... seems good so far!
I highly recommend the Wool series by Hugh Howie (first book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/12287209-wool). I've just read the second one and it's really interesting and accessible. A dystopian fiction, which I love!
The Game of Thrones series.
Started reading 1984. Completely hooked
My previous was Wool, by Hugh Howie. Excellent. Currently reading the Artemis Fowl series, light reading, but very enjoyable
Game of Thrones series
I'm currently reading a History of the Vikings. Excellent
