Stupidity......and not just the normal type we all exhibit, the type that makes people stop taking their antidepressants in favour of some water someone washed a plant in.
Homeopathy can kiss my medical researching arse.

I think Homeopathy is great for certain things.
I would not recommend it as a replacement for antidepressants however.
I've used it many times for minor things and it's been orsum.

Good point, old people need to be dealt with too.
They get in your way at the supermarket, and they smell funny.

I ewesed homopathic sleeping pills, they made me sleep all right. They also made me feel like crap, and about as tired as when I went to bed, when i was supposed to get out of it.

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
JD Salinger was a homeopathy freak.
In fact, he was a freak full stop.
Unconvinced about all that.

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
The Fermi paradox.
Also a proof for Fermat's last theorem.

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
Examples:
When my brother was little his ears kept bunging up and stuff so the doctors advised him to have grommets inserted in his ears. Mum didn't agree so took him to the homeopaths. They took a hair from his head, tested it and within 5 minutes told us he was allergic to milk.
So the genius of it was impressed on us early I suppose.
Since then if I have ever had a severe belly-ache I've taken Melissa and it's sorted it out like.
Arnica works well on bruises and bumps too.
Also, my great grandma used to suffer from bad knee-pains. One time when we went out to visit her we took some copper ointment which worked wonders for her.
kthxbai. :emo:

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
That's not homeopathy Benchez, those are natural remedies. Homeopathy is disturbingly idiotic. The whole idea is mind numbing. They take a chemical compound, not necessarily a natural one, then they shake it in distilled water for a bit. Then they dilute it by half and shake it some more. They do this so many times that eventually there is none of the original compound left, but its 'energy' is absorbed by the water somehow.
I actually lost a million brain cells explaining it to you, it's so dumb.

The information on good aids needs to be spread world wide.
-
Re: problems that need to be address in the world
Good aids > gay aids. fact.

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
Are Anadin Extra homeopathic? I think they are quite good - although Superdrug's own brand works just as well at half the price.
There is nothing placebo effect about Superdrug's own brand prices :noes:

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
I bought a packet of paracetamol and a packet of ibuprofen yesterday for a grand total of 40p.
Why on earth would people spend a zillion pounds on the branded products just because they come in a flashy purple capsule or something.
-
Re: problems that need to be address in the world
Coz they like purple.

I agree

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
I think packaging affects sales quite significantly on a large scale.
Personally I've never bought any medication ever but advertising works on the general population, so does packaging and brand loyalty otherwise they wouldn't do it.

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
I used to swear by "Panadol Extra" for fixing headaches, but over the last few years I've come to realise that Sainsbury's own brand does the same job just as well, for about a fifth of the price
-
Re: problems that need to be address in the world
I find a glass of water works a treat. :smilie4:
Headaches are often down to dehydration of the mind.

Re: problems that need to be address in the world
No, mine never go away until I have fed them. Believe me, I've tried. It hurts :(
Many of mine are sinus related though.
