i never deleted an acc. just want some opinion about deleting your own acc. i always thought the deleting of your own acc is stupid.

well if u been invited on that site from someone then dont give it if u can delete it,but if u have signed when they have open signups or if u got it from someone else then i think its ok to give if u dont need it anymore:)

I think the problem with him giving the account away is because it uses the same username as he has here on FST and/or other torrent sites. the problem i have is the content is in French. i do not want to watch movies doubled in French. i do not keep contact with the person who gave me the inv. it was about a year ago. i do not want to give it away because of the username and because the rule when i got the invite (a giveaway) was not to trade/giveaway it.

I don't think you really need to delete it. If you don't use it, just don't use it. Also, who knows, you maybe want to go back to browse there again in some days.
if you have a real life friend into torrenting who speaks french maybe you could give it to him? that way you wouldn't feel bad about deleting the account, and since you know him in real life you don't have to worry about trusting him, because if you knew he was untrustworthy you wouldn't pick him. Thor's is pretty valuable to the right people..
If you want to be trusted here then my suggestion to you is to let it die and delete itself.

I am french and I'm not using it much.
Only way I use it is to download DVD9/5 to make proper rips of those scene rips that suck big time in the FRENCH side of things. Also trying to include the english subs if they are there. I just don't understand why the FRENCH rips tend to always not include subtitles... and insist to make 700mb rips even when the movie is above 2 hours.
i just wanted some opinions. i made my mind. i will park it. if it is deleted for inactivity so be it. this way no harm will be done to the person who invited me. thank you all for posting your opinions on this.

I'm guessing the dilemma is stemming from the fact that it may be of no worth to you but you don't want to delete it because either, it's still worth something on the BT-rarity scales or perhaps, because the account might be worth something to someone else who might have some use for it.
