its because linux doesnt like spaces in folder/file names.
and most seedboxes and ftp Axx boxes will use linux.

There is something worse than dealing with spaces in linux though.
Last week the missus put a file called '-m-n-o-list' on my box. Try doing anything at all with that in linux.
Almost every command assumes the -m is a switch.
\-m fails
"-m" fails
'-m' fails
Luckily PHP can handle it.
