If this law is passed I gurantee that nearly every site and server to do with movie companies will get hacked and disabled themselves
I doubt it will though, privacy laws and stuff like that.
its not that easy to hack in any computer, and these days every body is behind proxy and firewalls
and max how many pc can they hack
:o
Just more evidence that the world is becoming a Global Fascist Dictatorship.
These guys are nazis :D

the article was from 2002 - just a general fyi
lucky i'm not in america thenQuote:
A bill introduced in the US seeks to allow the industry to hack into personal computers to search for illegal material.
:D
It just goes to show you how safe P2P file-sharing programs have become. They are resorting to hacking to catch swappers.
There's no way a law of such nature would ever get passed in the US.
i bet you my account that this thingy willl not get passed

aren't we already NOT buying cds anymore? lol
we should get this message out to encourage everybody to boycott american cds, movies, songs and start download them off the internet.
This will just make the security systems better.
Soon enough we will be able to transfer files completely undetected.
A great law !!!
Just set up a label and start hacking. Hmmmmm, I have reason to believe a certain terminal in Washington has a illegal copy of one of my works. Lets find out ..... this file looks interesting, "football keycode generator". Got Ya, DELETE.
Next week
No special agent Johnson, I'm no Russian spy, I work for the RIAA. What do you mean by "launch codes" ????
This will never pass, ever, it violates anti-hacking laws. I wonder when they'll realise they're not above the law.
