What do you think of this build?
Re: What do you think of this build?
Depends on what you want it for.
What's the main purpose that this machine is to perform?
Re: What do you think of this build?
Not bad, but if you can squeeze an extra $50-$100 on the vid card, you might not feel too anemic later, if you're a gamer.
Re: What do you think of this build?
yes but does he want to play any games.
Re: What do you think of this build?
Make sure you've got a big hammer.
Otherwise you are going to have difficulty fitting that AGP graphics card into the PCI-Express motherboard.

Working graphics are way overrated.

Ugh I almost fell for that same mistake that I fell for last time I built a computer lol. Also im on a budget so I can't sqeeze any more cash because iv'e already sqeezed in 120$ more then I should be. But if anyone could figure a way may a little bit lower cost of a mobo, or something to fit in a little bit better of a graphics card. It's going to be a gaming computer but it won't be mine.

 you guys crack me up. my question is 350W really enough for a gaming console, ive always looked at 400-500W, thinking is was necessary. saying one didnt overclock or have 20 fans cooling their case :P
Re: What do you think of this build?
To save some money, you could use a bit slower CPU.

and then get a PCI Express card. Maybe a GF6200 or GF6600
You could also save another $9 by not getting a floppy drive.

You can "manage" with 350W but not with a powerful graphics card.
