-1.5
Hello.
2y=-3x
y=-3/2x
f(x) = -3/2x
f(1) = -3/2(1)
f(x) = -1.5
y = -1.5
edit:
offtopic as in this next part has nothign to do w/ the basic algebra i just did above:
i fuckin hate calculus, stupid limits :dry:
but ya whats up.
That's not calculus. That's basic algebra.:huh:Quote:

this is calc-
derive acceleration from the following position function: F(x)=((sinh(xe^(tx)))4)/(arccsc(56x^(3x)+7x^5))
if you solve this, you are an idiot, because it means that you are doing extra work to solve a math problem that doesn't have any need to be solved.
or ask Maple to resolve it for ya :P
3(1) = -2y
3/-2 = y
y=-3/2 aka 1.5
i'd have to say definately not calculus.
stay focused!
no im just saying that the calc. im taking is fuckin stupid.
i know that's basic algebra the guy originally posted :huh:
i just pointed out my dislike of calculus (which was off topic)
while we're at it, can anyone explain why we need to take Chem12 in order to get into University under an computer engineering degree or w/e. I don't see how chemistry will be involved in getting a computer engineering degree, like seriously...
I can so totally picture myself doing that in a computer engineering course....Quote:
To solve this hard drive problem, please balance the following redox equation by the oxidation number method then proceed with labeling the cathode and...while you're at it find the left hand limit of x as it is approaching 1 from the equation lim f(x) blah blah blah
That's Busyman logic if I ever heard it....Quote:
