ISP: Roadrunner
http://www.rr.com/rdrun/
I'm thinking (or forced to) switching over to Roadrunner High Speed Online through Brighthouse Networks. (Link above)
:lookaroun I'm worried about their "P2P" policy...I currently have AOL who've only bothered me once with some crap letter saying I download movies (I NEVER have, lol...but other things yeah... :blushing: ...) But AOL to me is safe for P2P.
Now, I live in Florida so does anyone have RR in my state? Yes/no? Any problems you've encountered? :ermm:

Re: ISP: Roadrunner
Maybe you can give us a link to the part about p2p.
I have RR in Austin, TX and I love it. It's VERY fast. I have also downloaded my fair share of media (...and your share, and your share, and your share... ) and I've recieved a letter or any of that stuff. Just don't get their wireless. Wireless sucks.

Re: ISP: Roadrunner
I wish this service was available over here in maryland u.s. :( , 8mbps is really great for 45$ a month. Corporate bastards, comcast , charges 42$ for 4mbps. I hate monopolies :(

Re: ISP: Roadrunner
I think they are generally middle of the road and if get notified they will pass it on but not turn you over as some like Comcast have been know to from what Ive heard. As for your email you can get the limited AOL pack at under $5 to retain your email and just pick up your mail form their web interface as I dont think that effects the time used then. Then just use that for whatever time you need if you do need it to notify anyone that you cant think of right away...

Re: ISP: Roadrunner
Have been on RR for about 6 weeks now, and my upload stays maxed ( with help from Sideswiped) only complaint I have is the upload speed. By the way Hairbautt, I'm on CFL.RR

Re: ISP: Roadrunner
I have RR in Missouri, and I download about 500GB a month on their 5mbit connection, no letters or anything like that ever... (Knocks on wood) My only complaint is RPerry's, the upload sucks... I get about 650kB/s down, but only 45kB/s upload... :(
