It was probably for like 2 seconds.... Right?
Heh -- looks like a resumed download partial.
Say it was a couple 100 MBs in size and you had 90+% of it.
The first second it thinks you downloaded all 90+% of it, and reports some stupidly huge download rate. That number doesn't really mean anything, because it's no longer connected to reality.

connected to reality.
101265KB/sec = ~98MB/sec
T3 = ~5.5MB/sec
:lol:
edit: also, most current hard drives only write at 10MB/sec max
re-downloading an existingly cached file i smell
I fell asleep earlyer umm, That was a glich in opera the download lasted like 1 or 2 minutes. At normal speed but it was a glitch the whole time it stay at 64mb/s when really it was like 7kb/s.
Here it is again hit 109mb/s OPERA
erm...what's the point in showing a fake speed?Quote:
the whole reason for people posting those stupid "look at my speed" topics is that they're actually getting those speeds
you're obviously not getting 145MB/sec, so why post...you even admit it's a fault in Opera
It's because of the latentecy and ping times that numbers may be outputted misleadingly because the system can't display the dynamically changing numbers quick enough. And yes a 7200rpm HDD can only write around 10MB/s unless you have RAID, SCSI or SATA rather than Ultra-ATA or ATA-100/133.
