Well, XviD will provide better quality at 1 MBit/s.
XviD,RealVideo 10 or VP6 are the best video encoders from DVD sources.
HE-AAC is the best audio encoder from DVD sources.
Vobsub is the best subtitle format from DVD sources.
Matroska is the best container from DVD sources.
It can mux XviD,RealVideo,VP6,HE-AAC audio,vobsub subtitles and chapters into one single file.
