i think it is disabled because the ftn invites thread has been trashed since 5/31
its disabled for the moment. according to brandy he will re-open after staff catches up with other stuff in the site.

FTN power up can request an invite
PU in FTN can request invites but i heard that staff often don't give invites..
you have to be a very active and good member to get invites,
