Zoom in further on Google Maps
With a tiny bit of URL tweaking you can zoom in further on Googlemaps, provided the area you're looking at has big enough images:
Select a location and switch to satellite view. Zoom in as far as you can, and click 'link to this page' at the top right. Now replace the 'z' parameter in the URL with a higher value, e.g. 20, 22, or 23, and wait. Some locations will now show more detailed imagery.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=d...k&om=0&iwloc=A
versus
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=d...3,0.001073&t=k
I also tried it on my house for which the maximum standard zoom is 19, but I can edit it to 20 (anything higher doesn't work).
Re: Zoom in further on Google Maps

How about playing a game with it ...like find the location of the following ..well read this
So here is your first location: Angkor, Cambodia
This is a rather large temple complex, clearly visible from space..
