How do I figure out what service pack this is?
I've got this XP disk..and its got a valid cd key..and Im going to phone it in to my computer guy because my computers ready to have windows installed in it..but I need to know what service pack this cd is. I cant seem to find it anywere on the box or cd..
Where can i find it?

Just tell him its Sp/2 problem is solved . He's putting in the Software right ? All the updates will be installed that way .

Yeah tell him it's SP2. And that you bought it a week ago. So he'll load all the updates. :P

Or just tell him it's slipstreamed , it does sound like an odd question from a repair shop .

Not a repair shop. This is the situation. I ordered a new computer to be built, its ready to have a OS put on it.
Instead of spending 100$ on another disk, im using my current one. The thing is the shop is about 30 min away and my parents cant drive their to give them the disk this week, so Im phoning him in the CD key because aparently all the disks are the same.

Is it Pro corp .? Xp home what ? Just give him your key tell him you slipstreamed it problem solved . He won't care anyway he just whats to install an O/S for warranty purposes then your on your own .
