Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
Do you think there will be a change in the technology or everything will be the same ?
Re: Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
It will die , or I will no longer be a part of it so I wouldn`t care more if torrenting will die or not
Re: Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
It won't exist, without a doubt. It'll be like sending a burnt DVDR to a friend by mail.
Re: Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
It will go obsolete for sure, and their will be another method
Re: Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
will die in the next 5 years - check Moore's law
Re: Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
Torrenting will die FST no :D
There will surely be other ways for P2P
Re: Where do you think the torrent community will be in 10 years?
I think P2P itself will die in a couple years, and will be replaced by a faster and safer protocol. Trackers will still thrive, IMO, but will be forced to either change with the technology or just exist as communities. In this new age, file-sharing and "pirating" will only get more popular as the years go on, and eventually will become a mainstream practice.

In jail prob :-S Money corrupts absolutely. Since the dirving force behind shutting down torrent sites is more money. It's a really hard battle to fight.
