Anyone here fans of the Dark Materials Trilogy? I heard it's going to be made into a movie... here's hoping they don't butcher it up by mashing all the plot lines together.

I liked Dark Materials 1 and 2, but didn't get on with the third book for some reason.
I'm sure if they did make it into a film it'd be tremendous though. The books are wildly popular. :)
I read and enjoyed the first two as well but never got onto the third as my kid sister only had the first two. :ermm:Quote:
