Audio to Text Software

Hi all,
I 'm in dire need of some software to convert few audiofiles to text for my college work ;).
Could someone help in nyway.

try opening an mp3 in notepad....

GoldWave can turn audio into a binary text file...all you will see is 1's and 0's
