i don't think schools in england have them. either that or they kept it a really well guarded secret from me. or i skived so much i didn't know about it :dabs:
if there was one, i probably wouldn't have gone anyway :smilie4:
We don't either, unless I played truant the day they told us about it.
There was a prom further along my education, and some girl wanted me to take her, but I didn't go, 'cos I hated dancing, she was fat, and I didn't like the people I knew were going.
Made perfect sense right then :dabs:
Yah i'll go, with a girl, hot one hopefully.
I went. it was held in a tiny little corner of a health club, but they played good music so it was alright. The main bad thing was when my date told me she was a vegetarian in the parking lot of the steak house where we had decided to eat a week before. other than that, pretty good.
 What's the problem with thatQuote:

They do have proms in UK schools now. They didn't when I went.
Had a prom thing at the end of each year in university, I went to all three and got twatted.
I had a girlfriend, whom I went with, for the first one - most of my mates were up to their nuts in guts by midnight. For the other two, I made sure I didn't have a date and indulged with the pished posh girls on my course.
Quality invention, the prom. I definitely approve.
We had one when we left secondary school, I was banned from school events due to being picked up by the police after a drunken Youth Club incident so did not attend. My girlfriend at the time went and was unfaithful to me. After bumping into her recently and noticing she has developed into some sort of rat-creature I can only thank the prom system for aiding the end of my school romance.
If you're reading this rat-girl, it's called make-up. Give it a try.
/not bitter.
