But actually I think there is a good zip fixer program on that site that sharedholder is always promoting :lol:

Does Zip repair also work on TAR files?
I doubt it. Ive never had to use it on any files yet. I dont get many corrupt files.Quote:

Tar files really are not a form of compression, just a group of files put into an archive.
