Giving a Speech in English Class...
Alright, I'm giving a speech in English class over The History of The Internet, it has to be 5-8 minutes long...and I have no clue where to start. I give the speech Friday, and I have to hand in an outline Friday before I give the speech...anyone know where I can get some good info? :frusty:

Re: Giving a Speech in English Class...
You could start by missing that lesson :)
however if you dont want to do that you could talk about how the internet came about blah blah etc.
Re: Giving a Speech in English Class...
give a 5-8 min bullshit talk on the matrix and how it made an impact on the net and jus show them trailers of the movie ;)
Re: Giving a Speech in English Class...
That might work ......
Re: Giving a Speech in English Class...
I do stuff like that just about every morning, so quick tip
As soon as you decided what subject you'll be using just answer the next following questions:
What is it?
Why does it exist?
How does it work?
And when does it work/is it being used?
You'll never get any other question than that.
So start with what, move on to why, then go to how, finish with when and ask if there are anty questions.
Simple as that :D
