Contemporary band with the most talent?

I personally think the Alternative/Psychedelic band Tool are the most talented musicians out there. Their music is complex and meaningful. Their albums are thematic and interesting to listen to as a whole.
Then again, I'm not that much of a music buff. What do you guys think? This may be a tough question, since most of the bands out there just strum variations of simple chords and sing about how depressed they are.

Nonetheless, I stress 'contemporary' because we all know that every one would be spewing out names of '60s and '70s rock bands.
