I'm looking for software that will convert WMV into SVCD files and video editing software that will split the resulting file into 2. I have a WMV file of 70Mb which will not fit onto a 700Mb cd using Nero as it stands. Preferably something cracked and on Kazaa.
Any ideas?

Sonic Foundry Vegas Video 4+DVD or Adobe Premiere will do the encoding.
as far as splitting the movie, just drop it into the timeline and where you want to end first clip, just go to Edit and set the End point .
render as mpeg-2 and thats it
